I'm Way Behind....

on my posts. I wanted to post about SYTYCD on Wednesday after I watched the show but now it's Monday. You can see how well that went. So here is my recap anyway. Wish me better luck for this week!!

I loved most all of the dances for one reason or another...

Twitchington = LOVED IT! But Kherington has too sweet of a face to really do "Hip Hop".

Courtney and Gev = Courtney gets the award for best outfit of the night! I wasn't a fan of the music choice though.

Comfort and Chris = way below the mark this week. I was glad that Chris left. He should have gone 2 weeks ago instead of Marquis. I did think Tyce's choreography was interesting. Who else would have imagined a Jazz number to a Marilyn Manson song??

Jessica and Will = I'm not sure how I felt about it. I thought they talked Jessica up too much in the video prior the dance. Not really a big fan of Disco either.

Kourtni and Matt = I'm ready for Kourtni to go... I thought she would be gone instead of Chelsea. Meh.

Chelsea and Thayne = I thought the song choice hurt them. You Can't Hurry Love for the quickstep?? Hmmmmm....

Chelsie and Mark = Surprisingly, I had mixed feelings about this one. I thought that Chelsie and Mark both danced really well, but I felt like Tabitha and Napoleon were trying to duplicate "No Air" and didn't quite make it. Was it just me?

Katee and Joshua = Joshua can shake it for a b-boy! He put those pants to work :)

It seems to me like the couples who have the most chemistry are going to make it to the end.... This week should be good!!

Calling Daddy

Chloe is so funny when she calls Marc on the phone. She talks and talks...mostly in gibberish, but she throws a few words in here and there. I tried to catch her talking to him this morning, but he was home so he ruined the surprise by walking around the corner. I love the look on her face when she realizes he was here.

Happy Birthday Ryan!

My baby brother isn't a baby anymore. In fact, he's looking more like a man everyday. Love ya Bro - Happy 17th!

The Proof

He sure doesn't like rolling over, but he's happy once he gets to his tummy!

It can't be....

Max is rolling over!! He won't be 3 months for 2 more days... My little jello baby is supposed to stay little :( I'll post a video once I catch him in action.

Sad, Sad Feet

So I flip on the TV tonight thinking I would finally get to unwind and watch So You Think You Can Dance, only to realize IT ISN'T ON TONIGHT. What a crappy day. Seriously.

Happy Feet, Sad Teeth

Warrick and Violet came over this afternoon to play. We all had a blast!

Flashback Friday - Happy First Day of Summer!

When I think of summer, I think of beaches. Aaaaaa, beaches.

SYTYCD Week 1 & 2

So You Think You Can Dance is great this season! I think there is more of a competition going on this time around instead of just a few stand out dancers.

Week 1

My favorite couple so far would have to be Joshua and Katee. I loved their dance to "No Air".

I was sad they kicked off Ravyen and Jamie in week 1. I really liked them too. I loved Tabitha and Napoleon's choreography for their dance to "American Boy". They also did "No Air", so I guess I just like their Hip Hop style.

Week 2

Joshua and Katee win my vote again. I love Tyce Diorio's Broadway choreography. It's so quirky.

I don't care that Marquis' solo was all tricks - he did them so well! I was a little shocked he was kicked off because he was one of the best dancers. He has incredible control of his body.

Good riddance to Susie.... blah.

Fada's Day

We went to visit Papa EK (my Dad) at his fire station for Father's Day. Or as they as in Hawaii - Fada's Day. Lila and Chloe had a blast playing in the fire truck and ambulance. Thanks for letting us share the day with you Dad!

Yesterday: I was at my Mom’s house waiting for her new carpet to be installed. (With my 3 kids!) It was a surprise for her while she was away on vacation in Florida. It was a LONG day, but it was worth it to see her reaction.

MY HUSBAND....

What is his name? Marc James Blaser

How long have you been together? Married for 3 years on April 8th, 2008

How long did you date? We dated for 2 years before we got married

How old is he? Marc turns the big 3-0 this year!!

Who eats more? Marc. Especially now that I am on a diet…

Who said I love you first? Marc! But I felt it first! :)

Who is taller? Marc wins again

Who can sing better? Depends....Marc sings much better in front of people. I sing like a rock star in the shower

Who is smarter? I'm the gangsta with the street smarts. Marc is the college graduate computer whiz. So our kids will make good grades without getting beat up in school!

Who does the laundry? Me. I’m really, really great at washing/drying the laundry. Not so hot at the actual folding and putting away…

Who pays the bills? It's a team effort. We had our own bills when we got married and never really changed the way we do things...

Who sleeps in the right side? Marc sleeps on the right looking at the bed

Who mows the lawn? Marc. He's quite the home owner!

Who cooks dinner? I do, most of the time. Sometimes I'm just too lazy. Marc is great at steaks and burgers though.

Who drives? Marc. I feel like I'm in Driver's Ed again when I drive with Marc in the car. But I’m still grateful he does drive all the time! :)

Who is more stubborn? We are both equally stubborn but also equally giving. We are a good team.

Who kissed who first? Marc kissed me first….although I coerced him into it.

Who asked who out first? I asked out Marc! That was a first for me - I NEVER asked out guys. However, Marc didn't realize that's what I was doing because I had him bring some friends and he asked out the waitress while we were at dinner. We must really have been meant to be!

Who proposed? Marc did at Temple Square on December 1st, 2004. He was so nervous that his voice was shaking! It was adorable.

Who has more friends? Marc has more friends that are close by.

Who is more sensitive? Definitely me. I can cry on demand and I do 10-15 times a day.

Who has more siblings? Marc - family of 6 kids, I have 2 brothers.

Who wears the pants? We both enjoy a nice pair of slacks. (A quote from Anchorman for those of you who think I've lost my mind)

The Quest

No more excuses....I've pretty much been pregnant for the last 2 years and "post-baby" for 5 years. It's time to get in shape. But I need some motivation! Any one out there willing to get on a program together? Any one have some great ideas to get me going?? I NEED HELP!

Kangaroo Zoo - It's Really A Zoo....

On Friday I met some girlfriends at Kangaroo Zoo to let our kids have some fun. It was a little crazy!! Chloe kept running away and it is hard to keep track of her while taking care of Max. I totally took advantage of being able to play without a care while I was a kid!!

Thanks Kristi - I stole this picture from your blog!! Most of our kids are still playing on the toys. And yes, Max is hiding under my blanket! :)

Dinner with the Girls

Last week I went to dinner with the Blaser/Bonney girls while Grandma Bonney and Angie were in town. Here are some fun pictures from our girls night out!

Surprise!

Today we went to a surprise birthday party Jay Larsen. Boy was it a surprise - his birthday isn't until September!! But Shyla wanted to throw a party for him while his brother Pete is here on leave from Iraq. It was so fun! We surprised Jay at Ruby Tuesday's in Park City for lunch and then went up to the Olympic Park. Ryan, Marc and Lila rode the Alpine Slide together and Lila had a blast! She loved going fast. While they were riding, Mom, Joe, Helen, Chloe, Warrik, Violet and I played on the playground equipment next to the ski lift. It was also fun to watch the skiers who were practicing on the jumps.

It was fun to see Pete. He's been gone for a while. On the way up to Park City, we had a patriotic moment when "God Bless the USA" came on the radio. It got me thinking about all the sacrifices our soldiers are making for us. I wanted to tell Pete thank you for all he is doing, but I was afraid I might get emotional, so I didn't say anything. :( I'll have to write him a letter...

Thanks to Shyla for planning a fun day!

Flashback Friday - The Spider Dance

When my Mama and Papa (my Mom's Mom and Dad) would come to visit when I was little, I used to anxiously wait for the second Papa would say "Why don't you warm up your fingers Cammi?" I loved playing the piano for him. I would practice and practice for weeks before they came because I wanted to make sure all of my songs were perfect. When I was 8, I learned a song called "The Spider Dance". After I told Papa the name of the song and started to play, Papa began to dance around! I thought it was hilarious. It quickly became a tradition. I would always play the Spider Dance for him, no matter how much more advanced I got. And he would always dance.

The Wards

My friend Reathanak sent me pictures of her kids today and I had to post it because they are so beautiful!! This is SaVonni, LJ, and JoJo Ward. Aren't they the cutest kids you've ever seen??

Ra - I can't believe we are mommies of 3! Who would have thought??

Seven Peaks - Day 1

I got season passes for us this year so I could get the kids out of the house a couple of times a week. And let me tell you, it's hard work!!! 3 kids under 5 at Seven Peaks is not relaxing. Hopefully Chloe will calm down and not try to run away every chance she gets once we've been there a few times. Lila had a great time though. She is my little fish. Max, as usual, was an angel. He loved being out in the sunshine. Amy got a season pass too, so at least we will be able to hang out together.
